In February of 2019 I was living in Portugal when I decided I would take myself to Morocco for my Birthday. Some people had opinions about me going there alone as a female, but despite warnings of its dangers I was only met with warm welcomes. I wasn't alone for too long, as a couple of friends were traveling in Morocco by van and were kind enough to invite me to tag along.
